It's been a great project. I did all the rebuilding myself and what a feeling when it comes to life. It's been a blast to break in[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img][img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img][img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img]

Does the 427 scoop give You enough clearance to run the RPM and air-cleaner combo shown in the lower pic?

Not a problem with the RPM intake. I even have a 1/2 inch spacer btween carb and intake leaving me almost 1.0 inch clearance.

Crites conversion parts? I'm impressed that You can run RPM, spacer and that air-cleaner (with not much of a 'drop-base' by the looks of it)and manage to keep it underneath Your good-looking 427 scoop [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif[/img]
Those valve covers look good and it appears they provide decent clearance to the master cylinder.
