auto trans hump in \'66 hardtop

I have a '66 hardtop with a column shift. I was wondering what it will take to put a floor shift like '67 mustang or GTA. Do I need an aftermarket hump like they have for a four speed or do I just cut a hole in the trans tunnel

if you want it to look stock or use a console, then you need the hump. if you're going to by an aftermarket shifter with its mini console, then you don't. see woody's site for what the hole and hump look like on mine, at this URL

Thanks for the response. I was unsure if that hump was just for 4 speeds or its was universal. I guess now there's nothin left now but to do it. thanks
