Great story....I got mine off a friend who found it in a field where it sat for years.he didnt have time(money?) to do anything with it so I bought it for $125. and a small cobrajet style fiberglass scoop in 1983. I think I'll end up buried in it.

7DMACH1 (Ray),
Philly? You're only a bit down the raod from a few of us. Mybe you'll bring that Cyclone out to the 4th Annual Soda Jerk/Fairlane Club of America Mini-meet on Aug. 13, 2005? There are a few guys down your way that come up each year. One from Hatboro with a '71 Torino GT Convertible and anothe right in Philly with a maroon '70 Torino GT. You can see some pics from last year at http://www.fairlanet.com/sjpics/ or infor for the Mini-meet at http://www.fairlanet.com/minimeet

I'm checking out the possibility to bring the Fairlane down to the Philly cruise.

Unless I can get a trailor I don't think I'll make it. I just bought it in Jan of 2004. I was a race car. I've done some things in order to drive it on the street locally. It's a 460 30 over, with 13.7-1 compression, 702 solid roller cam, 4:30 gears and a 5500 stall convertor. The biggest problem is the 8 gallon fuel cell and racing gas. I would need a 55 gallon drum and my bank account to make it there. LOL, Ray

Edelbrock Performer RPM intake
Holley 3310 750 CFM carb
Hooker 6113 Super Comp Headers
