How heavy is a \'64 Fairlane 2dr. post?

I've been browsing around through both the internet and old 60's nomenclature but I haven't been able to find any hard facts at all. I'd really appreciate it if someone could chime in on how much the race weight is of their 64 is. I need a general idea so I can spec. out a torque converter. My car is also the 500 trim level if it makes any notable difference (I'm guessing around 3200lbs.)

~Thanks in advance

I have a hardtop rather than a post but I dont imagine they would be much different. Got mine weighed at the dump (insert joke here... all my friends do) with a very accurate scale and with a 289/c-4 original rear-end/buckets rather than a bench in front /half tank of gas it weighed 3240 lbs (without me in it).

just looked in an original sales brochure i have.... it says mine should have been 2930lbs and a post was 2290 lbs. those brochures are always out to lunch but the 60lb difference is probably about right.

Awesome, thanks for the input. Mine is using a late model 302 and alot more insulation than factory so I imagine it weighs in pretty close to yours.
