Rear Lowering blocks

OK so I was going to use the 60's Elkco front end lift kit but some people talked me out of it, saying it was not practical on the street. So now I'm thing some lowering blocks. Looking for about 2 inches. Looking for that gasser look for my 65. Where do you get them, how do they go in and are they safe??? Thanks

That's so f-ing cool!! I'm planning the Gasser look for my '65 too!!!! I love the stance, but have never seen an unappreciated '65 set-up that way. Anyway, I modified some lowering blocks for my '64. I took out the isolator bracket & rubber, reused the original plate & machined the blocks to fit. They've been in there over 6 months. No problems or shifting so far-Mike

Pep Boys have the kits with the U-bolts for about $30.00.

WOW ! Now that is one fine 65. The gasser look!!! I heard there was one like this in the Arizona area and wonder if this is the same car. I would love to find out who owns it....
