rod and custom MustangII

Anybody have the mustang II setup from RC motorsports on a 64? I asked a guy with one on his 65 mustang and he didn't really recommend it. Said it made the car sit up too high. Even with drop spindles he had to use shorter springs which put the control arms kinda outa level. Should the same be true on a fairlane? I'm thinking maybe he wanted his car REALLY low. Just curious if anyone had this setup and what they thought about it.

Im running it on my 64 and think its great. It rode high at first but the wrong springs were installed, they thought I was putting a big block in. I dont think I could even run dropped spindles on it, the tires would definitly rub.

Thanks for the info! So was the kit pretty complete? How was it to install? Sorry for all the questions, but I want to get an opinion from someone with "real world" experience before dropping that much money on the kit. Thanks again!

The kit was pretty complete. They had some problems with the install because the frame was out of wack from an accident. Take a look on woodys fairlanes site. Bunch of conversation on that forum.

I appreciate the reply and the link to the thread. There's some good info in there. Sounds like a couple guys had some trouble with their motors sitting a little far forward, but a couple others didn't? Wonder what that's about. Thanks again!
