New front windshield for 1963 Fairlane...where to get one??
A friend of mine has a 63 Fairlane and cannot find a replacement windshiled for it. He called one place and they quoted him $1300 for it!!!
Im like "no way, Jose"!! so I know that it cant be that expensive can it??
If he cannot get a decent price on a new one, he's going to scrap the whole car!!

Brian, have you bought anything from Classics-New? The website says that they're a wholesaler/distributer.

How could Dearborn get $1300 for a piece that Classics-New will sell for a thousand bucks less?

I think you need to watch out for whether or not it is a hardtop or sedan. There are at least two different windshields for 63'.

According to my 2002 Dearborn catalog, a new windshield is $399.99 plus freight.

His is a "Sports Coupe" Fairlane, the higher model I believe.

The Sports coupe uses the same windshield as the hardtop for '63, '64 and '65.
