66 Bench seat. What other vehicle uses this seat?

A buddy of mine is looking to go back to the bench seat in his 66. Its a pretty tuff item to find. What other car used that same seat? Maverick?

He wants one so bad the condition does not matter as long as its useable. Does anyone have one? He has some 65 or 66 mustang buckets if someone is needing a pair? He is located in SE michigan PM me if you have any leads on one. Shipping is no problem.

If so, then any 66-71 Fairlane, Torino, Ranchero, Montego, or station wagons of those derivitives will share the same chassis and floor pan so the bench seats will all swap.

I have another ? if ya got the time. Beings the floorpan is the same, Is the seat the same? I mean shape design etc.
Example (bench): 71 Montego vs. 66 Fairlane= same style and head rest? Or did the 66 not have headrests yet?

He is wanting what is "supposed" to be there. Or as close as humanly possible.

head rests came in 68 or 69 i think. i have the bench in my 67. bad part is nobody makes oem seat covers. i had to have a local shop do mine. they could'nt match it exactly but they got close.

Nope they didn't have headrest. Get in touch with Lynn at www.newenglandmustang. I just believe she can help you with the 66 Fairlane bench seat. She has come up with seat covers for me that others didn't have.
