tail light housings

Does anybody know if the gaskets for the tail light housings on '66-'67 fairlanes are cork or rubber? I am going to put my tail lights back on and I don't have the gaskets and I was thinking I can make some from cork gasket material. This is to go between the housing and the body. Thanks alot for any info.

Mine are gray rubber as well, and I bought them from AutoKrafters 10 years ago.

Thanks for the reply's. Do you know roughly how thick they are, somewhere around 1/8" or 1/4"? Thanks again.

Hi Doug That is a Summit Dual 1" Core Aluminum radiator, with twin Derale 13" electric fans and built in shroud. The radiator is 31" x 19", and I made up my own mounts. I'm going to do a better job on it soon, because I'm finally buying a MIG welder to get all the little things to look nicer. I'm going to make nice aluminum brackets, so I can put it a little farther away. I'll post some pics of when I attached the fan and had to make a slight cutout to get it to fit across. The car stays at 180, with a 180 t-stat in 90+ summer heat and humidity, and it will sit in traffic all day long.
