Thanks. I had one rust hole in the driver's door, so I had to cut that out and weld in a patch. The only filler in it is at the sail panel weld joints.I ended up wiping about 120 door dings with glazing putty, though!

I shaved a good bit of trim off and welded the holes. To level the warping, I ended up priming and blocking it down 3 times! I'll never paint another car black, I promise you that.

I know what you mean, The '65 sports coupe my Dad and I just finished is Dark Metalic Green. The passenger quarter-panel right behind the door looked like someone took a shotgun to it after we got it stripped down. I thought it would never come out straight, but with enough work and patience, you'd never know how bad it was. We only had to skim it in the end.
