1966 Fairlane hardtop window channel

the driver's window, front glass channel lining is becoming shredded. Is this available and how do you replace it? Thanks, Dave.

Yes its available.Try Autokrafters or Dearborn Classics,or Dennis Carpenter.I think all have a web site. You can take the door window out through the top of the door after you take out the roll up mechanism. If I remember correctly, the channel is secured with a clip at one end and a screw at the other. Its been years since I did mine, but once you take out the window, you will be able to look at the channel and see I am sure.Depending on where you buy the new stuff,(I recommend Autokrafters)it may come with instructions.
