I will need to put tires on my 64 four door pretty soon. I plan to run 15x6 chrome smoothies all the way around. 205/60/15 on the front. Can I get away with 225/60/15's on 15x6's on the rear without raising the rear of the car? My other option for the rear would be 215/65/15.

I ran 15x8 SS Cragars with 225/60/15's on the rear of my 62 four door with only slight rubbing on the fender lip when cornering hard, you should have no problems with 6 inch rims.

I have 8 inch wide wheels on my 64 4door with 245/60's and they do not rub at all.

The 8 inch wheels have a 5.0 inch back space.
