66 fairlane

My 66 has the chrome trim at the bottom below the doors and continuing to and over the wheel wells. Some 66's I see has the trim a little higher on the doors. Why the difference?

The cars with the higher chrome trim is a 1967.

I belive he won the prize !! When I was younger the only way we could tell them apart was the high chrome and tail lights.. We traveled a lot and played a game guessing the different models & years......
