big block fairlane

OK forum friends, I set the 460 in my 66 Fairlane this evening to find that the back of the oil pans hits the crossmember and the front of it hits the sway bar. The engine came out of a 73 pick-up. Can someone tell me which oil pan I will need? I have the conversion mounts from Dark Horse Perf.

I have a '70 429 in my '66 and used crites mounts and rebuilt suspension w/ 1 1/8" sway bar. No clearance issues. Maybe just needing a passenger car pan. Not sure if the truck one is deeper.

think jason's right. i'm also assuming you have a bigblock sway bar up front, as the small block sway bar will not clear the front of the pan. truck has a deeper pan, i believe. find an early to mid 70's lincoln pan and you shuld be fine. i do not, however, know how the dark horse mounts set the motor in the bay. i know the crites setup pushes the motor up and forward a considerable distance to clear the crossmember-and the swaybar is VERY close to the oil pan.
