Hey guys I need your opinion. I am thinking about putting a ford V-10 and a T-56 into my car but I am not to sure the measurments show it will fit but I dont want to ruin such a beautiful car and not be able to go back to the 390 what do you think????????????????????????????????????????????? ??????????

I have a 67 with a 390 and I'm not sue why you'd want to swap the v10 for the 390. That being said the v10 is a modular motor and will not fit between the shock towers without some cutting. A Tremec TKO 600 will bolt right up to your 390 with few mods.

Its a HUGE project, and if you dont want to start cutting things, its best to pass on the idea!!
Now that V-10 placed mid engine in a Ford van from the 60's would be way cool!!

Ok guys, I have a 428cj for it but I was just thinkin it would be something different and it does just barely fit between the towers. It was just an idea to be kinda original but I'll probably just do the 428. You have to admit the V-10 would be kinda cool.

The V-10 in the '66 would sure be different. If you have the engine, I'd give it a try. If you took your time, you should be able to figure out how much cutting would be necessary and then decide if you want to attempt it or not.
