390cfm Carbs
The R-8007 type is specialty one, similar to the 4160 style per my manuals. But there wasn't mention as to what engine it was expected to mount on to. Usually one of these was intended to fit onto engines (V-6 or V- which are quite small on the CU In's. Like around 250 or less. No mention of using them in dual configuration.
There are some dual quad manifolds for small block engines, but they require the Carter/Rochester types of carburetors. The type with fuel bowls one each side, not off the ends. My Ford manual for the small block with dual quads have an illustration showing dual Carter types, and fuel bowls off to sides. This sets the venturis more squarely over the intake ports. For big block engines they show common Holley carbs to be used, as there is a bit more space due to a longer engine.
You know what manifold it being thought about here? The carbs you are thinking of may be same physical size as most 4160 types, so I would just borrow one or two from friend to see how they fit beforehand. If two fit, then you are in I would think.
