Thanks T-Bolt

I am starting to put a parts list together
Complete Interior (switching to bucket seats)
All weather stripping
MustangII front Suspension (removing Shock Towers)
Sub-Frame Connecters
9" 4-Link
Mini-Tub (not moving rear frame-rails) should gain about 2.5" tire space
4-wheel power disk brakes
Power steering
514 Dual-Quad, Toploader 4-Speed(hoping for 650-700HP)

Obviously this is going to take a few years, and deep pockets (I will be doing 90% of the work)
And I will need to convince my wife I am not crazy

63's are my favorite. They seem to be a cross between a 63 Galaxy and a 57 T'bird (only down sized). I think they are the last of the finned Fords IIRC. 64's are cool too. The one thing that I have found out among friends is: "the faster they are the cooler they look." Tell your wife you think this is a great investment opportunity, then be prepared to eat those words many thousand $$$ down the road

One very nice '63! As stated above, nice to see aother '63 on the site. And if you decide not to spend all those bucks on the motor, keep in mind that a 302 will bolt right into the car. The transmission install will need some assistance but a pretty straight forward swap.

Later!

Nice looking car,but then again my view may be compromised.By moving the springs inboard you can fit a 295/50-15 on a 10 inch wheel with a 5 inch back space, without moving the frame rails. That is as tall as you can go at that width without rubbing the frame at the top of the tire in front of the axle.no problems above or behind. Are you going to do a pinto/mustang II front end or an after market kit? Plenty of room for the BB after you do the swap.I started building my SB stroker before I decided to do the swap or I may have went with a BB myself. Took it to the track a few times last year and granny shifting it and I do mean GRANNY the small block did 11.01 @126 with a 1.51 60,on a 10 inch slick. There is a LOT left in it. So you should love a BB in there.Good luck and keep us posted.

Rust under the battery, rear quarters and where the rear leaf springs mount to the unibody. At least from what I have seen. Being its in Puerto rico you might have a clean car unless its been by the water alot.

I took the plung and purchased the car for 2,700 USD !!! good bumpers and chrome trim. it has the 60's sound with the cherry bombs and 2" exhaust pipes and chrome round exh. tips !!!! looks like the wiring harness has not been hacked to bad. thanks Jetfixr320 for the help !!! tomorrow I will check the old boy out, so far some real minor rust on the top of the rear wheel arch on the passenger side and the bottom of the door on the same side and some other issues but fixable
