front drag shocks for a 1965 fairlane

Does anybody know where I can get a set of adjustable front shocks for my fairlane? 63 - 65 should all be the same but 66 is different. I have tried two different sets of comp engineering and they are too short and the lower mount is too small. Somebody with a 64 must have a set, they race tons of those. extened length 19.5 compressed 13.5 and 2.34 stud width on the bottem mount. I am really confused?????

I used a pair for a 1970 Plymouth Duster made by Competition Engineering.

I had to press the bottom cross bar mount out of
the old shocks and into the the new ones.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the info. I ended up modifing my lower mount. I called comp eng and they said to use Mr. gasket stud exstenders for the top. I will post some pics of how it turned out.

I finally got a set to work. I ordered the set from jegs part number 247-2740 which says it works for 65 to 71 but it should actually read 66 -71. 63 -65 fairlanes have a different lower a arm and you will need to take the lowers studs out of the shock and mover them out and weld them again. I thought I would need the Mr. Gasket shock extensions 720-1290 but after I installed the shocks they worked fine without them.
