bullitt wheels

Thinking about buying a set of '03 bullit wheels from a buddy at work. I read in a past mustang monthly that NPD sells a set of wheel spacer for adapting late model rims to muscle car spindles. Anybody have any experience on wheel spacers such as these. The article says you shouldn't have any issues on stock ride height cars and mine isn't lowered or anything. I seen a red '66 hardtop(same as mine) with the bullitt rims in a past issue of mustangs & fords. Any heads up will greatly be appreciated.

bullitt wheels

I own a 67 and I am running and set of 20x 8.5 bullits all the way around. I am running 66 mustang 620lb coils in the front and reverse eye springs in the rear with 1 inch lowering block. the tires are 255 35 20. they rub just a little in the front but, if I was to run a 30 series tire I would be fine . My tire is 28 inched tall and I am running 1 inch spacers in the front. didn't need them in the back due to the fact that my rear is out of a 63 galaxie. which is 2 inches wider then the fairlane. on the spacers swap to longer studs and run them that way. I do not like the kind that bolt on and have new studs on them. I had a wheel fall off because I didn't have them torqued right. The wheels came from an 05 mustang. every wheel and tire place claims they will not fit a fairlane. I say they are wrong. you can check out a pic of my car on my profile. if you want email me at un-fairlane@hotmail.com and I will send you more pics

I have been riding a 1" billet adapter on the rear of my Galaxie since 2001. I run 20 X 9 rims with 255 35 20 tires. I only use the adapter because I wanted the wheels to be closer to the outer wheel well. The only problem that I have had with the adapters are studs, when rotating the tires they tend to get cross treaded and have to be replaced. This only happened to me once.
