I have no pics of my '65 500 hardtop to post but I'm happy to let you know I'm here. Bought my '65 because I had never seen one on the road, in a show/cruise or in a mag or anywhere else... I like orphans. Besides, the price was right, usually the case with orphans.
Yanked the wheezing 6 and put in a 302/C4.
Have a suspension rebuild kit and Granada discs waiting for warmer weather.
Began work on the interior- painted all the inside sheet metal bright red, working on door panels. Have a headliner that needs to be installed (what a pain!)
PLANS- Shave the emblems, leave the side trim and repaint- currently rattle can satin black, I'll do a Rustoleum roller satin black soon- see the moparts.com thread. Subframe connectors, good shocks and a new rear gearset.
I'll post pics someday when it's not 12 degrees and blowing snow like it's the end of the world.
