ram air for 66

Hey Guys, has anyone converted there 66 to ram air around here? I'd like to know more about doing that. I'm not even sure just what lights you would take out to do it right and how do you rewire the lights so they work low and high beam off the same set? Any pics out there?

Below is how it was done to a 67/68 MUST.

Your top headlamp is both low and high. Just use the lower bulb hole for the inlet. Depends on which state you live in as to whether you can get away with it.

What type of carburetion?

do it right? 66/67 used a ram air hood with a plenum that sealed to an oval air cleaner with a wider base and foam strip, not through the lights.

If you want to run tubes from the lights like the 64 T-bolt, you will need to cut through both front fender aprons.

or cut access holes through your rad support and pick up air coming through grill

Re: ram air for 66

I was just toying with the idea since I think it's really a neat deal.
