crites lower a frame brace

Can anyone help me out with some pics of this thing installed? It's the piece of square stock that replaces the curved tube(this is on a 64). I see that the two brackets weld to the lower control arm brackets, but I'm not exactly sure where at. I know that headers are gonna be a pretty tight fit so I'm assuming this thing has to be in the right spot. Also, his instructions say to put in the front 2 header tubes before the final weld. Is this true or can I just weld it up solid and cram the headers in (if I ever actually get around to putting a motor in this thing!) Thanks!

Here is mine installed. .and I did mock the headers in place and then weld it in around them. I had to hammer dings and dents in my headers all over the place to clear various things but overall they fit well . .

Re: crites lower a frame brace

Thanks for the info. So it looks like it doesn't push up enough for the brackets to touch anything and be welded on the top, just the bottom and both sides. I guess I should probably leave the curved piece in until I get ready to get the headers mocked up where they're gonna go then stick this thing in wherever it'll fit huh. Thanks again, scarelane! Looks like yours is coming right along. Keep the pics coming!
