front disks, am i missing something?

i just installed front disks on my 68, using the old 79 grananda spindle swap. but, the passenger side rear pad is rattling something hateful. did i miss a retainer clip, or some kind of caliper adjustment? when i touch the brakes, the rattle stops. anybody know what's going on?

There is no REAR pad on a brake caliper.. Only inner and outer....

If a pad rattles then that means it's not snugly where it should be or ther caliper retracts too far with the brake off.

Yes you can see the little spring clips in the pictures of that link that ChicoB posted..My 82 F-100 had the same style of brakes and they would rattle like crazy without the clips.
