62 thru 65 Fairlane reproduction gas tank

Just received my new reproduction gas tank for my 1964 Fairlane. I am pleased with the quality and looks. They have done a very good job. My question is, while it's new and clean, should I treat the inside to help prevent rust in the future? If so, what product would someone recommend? I appreciate everyone's response in advance.

I would probably just rinse it out real good with gas. BTW, where did you get the tank from?

I purchased off E-bay from Classic Car Auto Parts | Classic Car Parts and Replacement Parts.. This was the initial run of the tanks and I know of several other places that plan to carry them. I think they will be abundant in a couple of months. The one I have is a very good reproduction and matches the original exactally.
