Decoding help
I can do this with Mustangs, but can anyone tell me more info from my door tag on my 63 Fairlane?
Body 54b
Color M
Trim 32
Date 31k
DSO 61
Axle 4
Trans 3

vin: 3K42L

3K42L is a 63, made in Kansas City Kansas, 42 not known but 47 is Fairlane 500 Sports Coupe. 221-2V V-8.

Body 54B

Color M is Wimbledon White I believe...

Date 31K is November 31st.

AXLE and Trans I don't got anything stored in my head for you....

Thanks! Great website. I found out that it's Corinthian White, Med. blue/Light Blue crush vinyl interior, was made October 31 1962 in Kansas City, sent to Dallas, has a 3.25 rear, and a 2 speed auto trans.
