66 Fairlane to Comet sheetmetal interchange

I'm looking at purchasing a rusty but complete original 66 Comet Cyclone GT.
My question is, does any of the fairlane sheetmetal fit the comet?
From what i have been able to tell by looking at photo's, they seem the same, but I thought I would check on here before going much further.
Any good sources for repop 66 comet sheetmetal (quarters torque boxes,lower fenders) if it isn't the same as fairlane???

I'll give you my .02 worth since nobody else will. I think the Comet's are slightly longer than the Fairlane. It seems like the quarters is where the extra length is added. There may actually be quarter extension or tailight extension on the back of the Comet's (I can't remember the exact terminology) and the quarters are the same. I'm not sure. The fenders look really close to the Fairlane's other than the headlight bezels. As far as torque boxes, they are probably the same. I think the hoods will interchange also. That's my .02 worth but don't quote me.

the hoods are longer, too... 2 inches.. structurally they are the same...
