Tri - Y headers for a Mustang. Fit Falcons?

Does anybody out there know if the Tri-Y headers that Mustangs Ultd. sells for Mustangs will fit a '63 Ranchero?
It's a stock 260/4 speed for now but I'm going to install a 289 and am interested in those headers.
Any ideas??
Thanx

I don't know the answer to your question unfortunately, but I know that fitting headers to the Falcon can be a bear. If you want absolute top quality, sure-to-fit Falcon headers, try Red's Tri Y Headers. They do cost, but you'll do it once and be done with it. He's got a website. Good luck.

Thanx HJ.
I'm not sure if I want to go with full length headers or shortys. What do you run?

I have Hooker # 6901 headers in my '63 Ranchero. They are the competition line, which are a bit cheaper than the super competition headers. The driver's side is a bit difficult to put in and take out. But I think that is true of most headers. Besides that, they fit great.

I've heard the Hooker 6901's are tight on the left side as with most full length headers, that's why I'm considering shortys.
Thanx for your input!

If you are considering using a shorty style header, try the hedman headers part # 88400. They are inexpensive and easy to install.

Finkster, sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I am using shorty 5.0 headers from Ford Motorsport. They were used and basically free when I built my engine, so I took them. I will eventually go with long tube headers to build more bottom end. I have a Mustang II IFS which eliminates the shock towers, which makes headers a much easier thing for me to deal with.

BlackFalcon,
I know the Hedman's are a good deal price wise but, I understand the flanges are a bit thin. Any sealing problems in your experience??

Tri_Y do not fit. You'll have interference problems especially when steering. I'm using Hooker Supercomps. Best header I've ever seen. Fit perfectly. Hard to install? Ubetcha! Worth it? Ubetcha!
