The best rear for the money is the 57-59 Ford 9 Inch. It is narrow enough to put some decent tires on it and keep them inside the fender lip and it bolts right up. I bought a 65 HiPo Mustang 9" for 150 bucks about ten years ago and have been running it since. It is about an inch wider than stock so there isn't much room for tires. I run my stock 8" axles in this housing. Stock brakes also. You can also get a custom one built with disk brakes but that'll cost ya!

Your way out west but if you save some money up and hit as many swap meets as you can you can find one narrowed for a good price. If you can make it go to columbus in november around thanksgiving all ford swap meet if you cant find it there you dont need it. [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
