steering gear box

the time has come for my steering box to be rebuilt or replaced. it has alot of play and no more adjustment. its from a 63 with a V8. Flaming river has one for close to $800.00. anybody know where I can get mine rebuilt or get a rebuilt at a reasonable price.

I have seen steering boxes for other Fords in Autokrafter's. I didn't see one for a Falcon. However, they do carry a conversion to a rack-and-pinion set-up for $1000. No picture on the website, though. That's not much more money, and you will appreciate the R & P steering much more than the stock steering gear. Something to consider.

Try www.falconparts.com. They have NEW steering boxes listed for $399 which is much better than $800. They might be able to rebuild yours for a decent price also.I have ordered from them before and had no problems with the parts or service.
