Does anyone know if they make replacement panels for the front where the fenderwell runs under the car to meet the sub frame? It is the corner by the fender to the floor about 12" square, sort of like a skid plate.
Thanks in advance

I think you're talking about the torque boxes. Are they rusted out? or are they just beat up, or separating? You should try the Mustang parts suppliers, they sell new torque boxes for Mustangs, and a 64-66 should be quite similar.

I found them ready made for the car. I went to a shop for a price quote, to have them installed plus add the sub frame connectors he wants $ 700.00
I thought that wasn't out of line.

My car was rusted out in the same place, i just cut out a sheet of metal and welded it in and undercoated it. Worked fine for me, but be careful you dont start your interior carpet on fire. Stinks like a bugger.

Found a pair in Arizona, Should have them in a week. FOR ANYONE WHO NEEDS TO KNOW Mustang torque boxes are close but don't fit. and not worth the trouble. Found a thread on another board, Too much trouble to use them, better off making them or buying them used.

P.S. I am also doing the sub frame connectors at the same time.
