Fiberglass parts

I noticed that they (showcars-bodyparts) may not carry the fenders anymore. It shows 68-63 on the page - a big difference. Us late model people kinda have to suffer. I used a hood from US Body and a scoop from Unlimited to build my hood. US did have the fenders at one time, but tossed the molds about 1992. I do have a bumper from MP. Got it for xmas last year - still haven't had time to fabricate the brackets. The quality of the bumper is fair.

I like your hood/scoop combo Chris.

Looks real natural.

I know what you mean when you say it's tough to find any fiberglass for our late model Falcons.

Amen to that brother, there isn't hardly anything in 'glass out there for the late Falcons. I'm gonna squeeze high 11's out of my 351C Falcon, and all I'll have for 'glass parts is the hoodscoop. Should be a good time Sitting at mid 12's right now

The scoop was a nice touch. I did all the body work and the paint on it, and it hasn't flaked off yet. It's functional too - it has a large piece of aluminium attached to an air cleaner base and A/C foam from Lowes to seal it up. It's goes along with my "multi-cultural/world class" theme - Ford car, Pontiac Sunbird seats, Z/28 scoop, Yugo third brake light, japanese radio, etc. I also have an older metal hood with a Pro Stock scoop that I was given. It's cool, but it sucks up every critter above ground level when your cruising, so that hood hangs on the garage wall.
