Forgot to say Hello!

Just sorta landed here and started posting. Hodwy (from Tx you see) , I'm Chris. I've had my 67 four door since 1974. Torn it up and fixed it up many times over that period. There are some pictures of that history on the web site. It's in much better shape now that it's ever been and it has nicer accomodations. Like it's own little shop with A/C, propane heat, cable TV. The wife won't let me put a john out there - she's afraid I'd forget to come back in the house. The car is loud and fast. I missed my old Thrush header muffs so much I now run 3" Dynomax Bullets. The 351C has home ported 2V heads, forged flat tops, Milodon pan, pump and pickup, Crane 226/230 cam, Weiand Xcelerator, ProForm modified 750 Holley, TCI Super Street Fighter, 9", etc. A complete list is on the site. I did it all including the paint (such as it is). It ran 13.3@103 this year with the old 214/224 cam and a really tight 11" Break-a-way converter so we should be in the 12's now. The closest track is 105 miles, so I may not have the time to find out for sure this year. Look forward to contributing when I can and learning from others.

Thanks for the nice comments about the site. I keep trying to add more stuff, but time for composition is scarce these days. I get mail occasionally from people that say they found something useful there, so that makes me feel good. Looks like fun here and there are some VERY nice Falcons. Lotsa nice cars, period. I subscribed back in April, then promptly forgot about it.

The only thing new is that I'm waiting on some new Autometer SportComp gauges. I'd like to get them installed before our bug Cruise Night on 10/12. If UPS would just hurry up...
