disc brake conversion

Can anyone tell me if the spindles and drums are the same on the 65 and 68 falcons. There is a guy here who makes a conversion to go to disc brakes but only has one for a 68. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The ball joint taper is the same, so the spindles will bolt up, if that's what you mean. Check my page under disk brake swap, page 1 and you will see all the "special considerations" concerning tie rod hookups.

When are you doing the swap?

The reason I ask is my COMPLETE front end from my 65 will be cut from my car soon.

I have all new disk brake conversion stuff that will be up for sale including a brand new PST poly front end kit.


It also has a manual steer set up that is only for a 65 Falcon.


I guess I could e-bay the stuff but that's going to be difficult for the bigger items i have.

Even if some dude hadda 65 Falcon with rusty shock towers the ones from my car are are 100% perfect.

I'm not even using the stock radiator support so when I say "complete" front end I mean "complete".[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
