what did they use for a front axel in the falcons and fairlanes??I think the econolines were to wide.Just got myself thinkin [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif[/img]

That Falcon looks great DT!

When I was a kid and all these guys were my heros, they seemed larger than life.

Now I can see how limited they were because of what kind of budgets and technology they had.

Most of the drag car falcons had the econoline front axel but cut them down by about 6 inches. I know Hubert Platt's (Georgia Shaker) had this anyway.

NO. Actually the first one is over 40 years old. Some like to resurrect some of the old trivia treads. Like rereading some old magazine articles.
