Converting Grandpaws Red Falcon

Splitting hairs now, I know, but the 63 v8 power steering box, pitman, centerlink and idler are different (heavier) than the manual 6 stuff. Still, the six cylinder stuff could be used.

The wheels are in motion. Parts are being found for a Maverick 74 5-lug rear. Pinto or Granada V8 Driveshaft, Granada Disk brakes and tie rod end - I recall needing an adapter that attached this V8 tierod end to my 6 suspension.. know where I can get this?

I already have the 302 and C4...

Great,I'm jazzed. the old Family Falcon fired up today after a 8 year yard rest! I put some new points, condenser, coil, replaced battery wires and fuel hoses.. had to bypass the gas tank as that developed a hole and didn't trust the remaining fuel.. so I attached a long hose to my gas can.. placed it under the hood. I turned it over several times with the spark plugs out so to try to oil it some..and after installing back and cleaning spark plugs it fired right up! Starts super easy. Just Cool. Very rewarding. I know Grandpop would be proud. Now I can fix the original brakes until I upgrade to Granada disks.

BTW.. not only did it crank, but the old 2 speed automatic worked fine as we cruised around the yard!
