Thay will bolt right on nothing to change. We just didnt the same thing to an 85 mustang with a set of ported and big valve 351's runs great. I think they where adjustable in 69. What year are your 302 head if early enough you mite be able to use the rockers. If not it wont be hard to figure out.

The bolt holes on the 351's are bigger. Edelbrock makes a set of tapered head bolts that'll work. I have heard of guys using the standard 289/302 headbolts and making it work. The special bolts are not expensive and cheap insurance. Port and polish those 351's and they'll flow as well as Edelbrocks.

Ford Motorsport used to sell the head bolts just for this situation. They had the smaller thread and a large collar under the bolt head to keep them centered. Before these were available we used to make little hat looking adapters out of 1" bar stock on a metal lathe. The heads worked real well on my bracket car when I used to run it. That was before the wide variety of aftermarket heads. Plus we had no money. Your biggest port flow gains will be on the exhaust port and in the bowls. The chambers are usually about 60cc's. I ran Manley 1.94 / 1.6 valves. Just remember if you have to do the guides, seats, machine for rocker studs etc you may be near the price of a set of Darts. Good luck, Peter.
