Whats more Rare?

Whats more rare.. a 63 Ford Falcon Futura Hardtop V8 260 with Factory A/C etc or a 63.5 Falcon Sprint Hardtop V8 with similar setup?

I'm thinking the 63 with the factory V8 and A/C..because it was the car that made them create the 1/2 year sprint... but not positive.

Neither of the cars are rare, per say. The factory air is tough to find on a car but the cars are not. valuewise, the sprint would be better. Do both cars have bucket seats? If not, then the sprint is a better car.

Oh yea, both have buckets, console etc, A/C etc. One just has 260 V8 on the side the other has V8 Sprint

I would go for the sprint. It is the better of the two. IF the condition is about the same on both cars.

Thanks.. but I just went ahead and purchased the 63 Ford Futura 260 Hardtop. It was a much better car upon inspection and you just don't see as many as you do Sprints.

Original 92,000 miles supposedly on the car. Drives and runs great.

Thanks guys.
I was fixing one up.. and just gone thru the front end on a 63 same as this but Red and a six and started to put a pen to the cost of fixing everything else up.

My parts bill came up MORE than this car was for Sale for (it is a rough hulled out Red 63!).. so with my time being limited.. I decided to get behind the wheel a lot sooner and snatched this one up.

The car drives and 260 runs great, big front and rear sway bars and C4 added with rear highway gears for top end crusing. Not to mention the factory A/C sure will keep things cruising cool this summer in Mississippi.

I've got a few plans to really take this car up a notch and make it a real show stopper (not much to do)... but for now it just refreshing to be able to drive such a solid and straight car where everything works.

I'll post some interior shots soon.

Excellent purchase! I've always been a big advocate of buying as much car up front as you can afford. Unless you have the time and skill to do a lot of stuff yourself, you can burn a stack of cash real quick.
