Speedometer Gear Help

I've been looking on the net, and have found several speedometer gear calculators and have several different answers. What I need to know is this: I have a Ford C-6, 3.55 rear axle gears, and 295 X 50 15" rear tires (10 inches wide). How many teeth should be on my speedo gear?

well my friend told me that it is trial and aier that u have to try out a gear and if it does not give u the corect speed try it again with another gear. or go to your local transmiton sop and they might be able to tell u sometihgn different but he works at a tranny shop and thats what he told me. hope that helps

I've come up with several speedo gears that will supposedly work, one is a 16 tooth, the other a 19.
