Woodgrain or Sprint Steering wheel...

Does anyone have a near mint 63 era red sprint steering wheel (with chrome) to sell or an aftermarket era woodgrain steering wheel in excellent condition that would consider selling.

Or maybe someone knows of a repro wheel that is being made like the original woodgrain ones were... if so.. please post the source.

I'll even entertain a 63 era perfect wheel.. although red would be my choice.

Thanks

Gheez.. your right. I found a NOS Falcon Steering wheel.. RED even.. with one heck of a price! $500 with shipping... DOH! Pefect.. but just about $200 more than I wanted to spend on one.

See it here. It a beauty.

Look at Mustangs Plus, etc., for Mustang wood grain wheels. Since there are more Mustangs than Falcons, Mustang distributors have to offer a better price. You could put the Falcon logo on the horn button. I've seen it before on Falcs and they look good. You'll save money too.

that was an original wheel. I guess they did want $500.00 for it. give them a phone call it's a 1 800 # and ask for a price on a repo. wood wheel. 1 year ago I paid only $199.00 for it.they can't have gone up that much.

the post above my last post is correct on the horn rings.I have been told that some of the Mustang horn rings. the Mustang emblem can be removed and underneath it is a Falcon Sprint emblem.

Thanks Bob.
I called and spoke to a very nice young lady that did lots of research and found that hey reordered the Repo wheel from Harris Mustang? Anyone know of them? They sold over 38 over them last year!

Also the horn ring comes separate for 89.95 extra.. with dual flags for the sprint falcon. Mine is a early 63 260, bucket Falcon A/C but sprint flags will not matter... since thats the only kind they carry.

Bob, what is the quality like and the horn ring or did you reuse your old one?

Thanks

The 1963 and 1964 Sprint horn rings are one in the same. I used my old one but thats not a bad price for a repro.I seen some horn rings on ebay a few days back that needed a little tlc. I don't recal the prices on them.By the way how much did they want for the wood grain wheel ? let's e-mail this stuf. 1963falcon@charter.net
