wheel and tire sizes for a 62

Hi all you Falcon fans,

Can you help me figure out the wheel and tire combo on this car? I think they are Torq Thrust II 15".

Check the old posts we went over this for a while. i think that the final decision is that they were 16x7's at least that is what i am thinking. i was looking at the same combo for a while until i found out that the deepest backspace was 4" without a custom job. oh well i will find something else

Ahh.. the cream sweet falcon surfaces again. I wish somebody would contact this guy. We sure have posted his photo alot.

63 Sprint is right in our guesses.. we believe it to be a custom offset of 4.5 in (correct me if I am wrong)

I really love this car and the look of the Torque Thrusts. If anyone, repeat anyone.. knows what this guy invite him here or on http://www.falconforums.com so we can get the dl

Red falcon,

it sure would be nice to know if those wheels are custom. like i said i tried to get some 16's in a 4.5" b.s. they said at least 60 per wheel more for a custom job. that is on top of 190 a wheel. i am thinking colorado customs now since i live here and all. i NEED to get some 16's under my fenders, they look so sweet!

I know we went over this wheel thing on the same car before. Not sure of the outcome. I would guess that those are probably 15X6 wheels with 3.5 backspacing.Just a guess though. That front licence plate looks like a repop of a '63 Cal plate to me.

Wasn't there a song called "Devil In a Blue Dress".That can't be the same woman from the song.

I found the original thread. I didn't see where anyone came up with wheel sizes. One owner tried 16x7 but ran into a backspacing problem. I have other photos of 15x6 wheels on 60-63 Falcons and they just don't look as good as this one.
