You can use your existing 6 cyl. steering linkage by ordering a special made bushing, which allows the thinner O.D. 6yl outer tie rod to adapt to the larger I.D. granada V8 spindle. These bushings are about $40/pr. with shipping and are sold by
www.mustangsteve.com. I didn't know about these bushings a couple of years ago when I converted my 62 comet to v8 front discs, so I converted my whole steering over to mustang 64-66 v8. Works fine, but also cost close to $400 since I purchased everything (USA made) new (centerlink, inner and outer tie rods, pitman arm (used), idler arm and idler arm bracket). I also looked into the 63-4 falcon v8 steering components and the tie rods alone cost @ $70/piece! Plus mustang parts can be found everywere and cost much less. If your 6 cylinder steering is still tight, I would go with the bushings, unless you have plentiful $$ and don't mind buying/converting to mustang or falcon V8 steering (go with the mustang).
