Rack and pinion in a Comet/Falcon?

coolfalcon you have any better detaile pics of the cross member to frame locations? Thats a stock cross memember right out of mustang II isnt it? Still considering this swap since parts are stinking expensive for the stock M/S 64 Comet front.

I measured for center line of splidles the made sure it was even or the same form side to side then i started cutting.

Yeah those help a ton. Looks like a pretty basic swap really, esp since you can use the stock MII cross member. What did you use for motor mounts? My main concern is gonna be if the new steering shaft is gonna clear the z-bar.

Im useing a motor plate and an automatic. I also moved my engine back.
