Rack and pinion in a Comet/Falcon?

how long did it take you to cut everything out and put back together
thinking on doing it to my 65 sprint
for my new motor setup
it will kill three birds with one stone.
brakes steering and clearence

Rack and pinion in a Comet/Falcon?

COOLFALCON, what years of mustang II frontend crosmember works and what is a cost expected to pay for this part. I know it will need cleaned-up put in rebuilt,ect.So what is the average cost from a junk-yard.My ranchero is going to be built with rack and pinion.Thanks for any and all help.

It dint take me but a couple of weeks work and hour or two at night after work to cut and put it in there. The money part takes the longest. I wount take long if you put your nose to the grind stone.

The one i use and it doesent make any diffrents what year mustang II you use but i used a 76 cost me 250 and i told them were to cut. I have less then 800 in mine total. You still have to look for bargin if you dont want to use stock steering pieces. The bargins are out there you just have to look.
