Rack and pinion in a Comet/Falcon?

Has anyone does this or researched it...I was thinking it would be a nice way to get some of the clutter out of there. Was gonna measure a Mustang II rack tomorrow. I dont wanna use the whole MII setup..just the rack maybe. Who knows...my mind is working OT with the latest project and im just throwing things out to get some opinions.

There are a couple of guys running around in my area with Mustang II front ends under them.

They seem to really like the setup.

By the time I get my shock towers done, I probably will be wishing I went with that setup also!

The croosmember is right out of a bone yard mustangII. I was going to stay with factory upper and lowers but i changed my mind.

I went with a Mustang II IFS in my '61 and it's the best thing I've done by far. I went with Rod & Custom Motorsports' kit. Check them out at www.rcmotorsports.com

Willie and William (father and son) are very easy to talk with and didn't mind me asking a zillion questions and making all sorts of calls before I bit the bullet and bought it. (Mind you, it's a big cost.) I didn't want to find a Mustang II front end, because they are very, very tough to find in my part of the world, Los Angeles.
