8\" swap, what soft brake line?

Hey I just have a quick question for you guys. I just swapped in an 8" diff from a maverick into my 64 Comet, but the soft brake line from the donor car is too short. The one from the comet won't work either. Anybody know what I need? Thanks in advance.

The maverick line is too short to reach the bracket coming off the car, and the brass distributing block is non removable from the cable. The original line is long enough and can be unthreaded from its distributing block, but its too small for the attachment bolt on the new diff. There must be some stock piece that is long enough...like off a truck maybe?
