You should look closely at it. It could easily take you $2,000 and a few months just to get it street legal and on the road. For that kind of money you could probably buy a driver. You may find the myriad of missing or damaged pieces to be overwhelming and expensive.

Is everyone in agreement that there should be about $500 worth of parts there if I guy eBay's the crap out of it? I think that if it is too much of a project, I will buy it anyway just to part it out

If it has the blank fenders (no trim holes) those fenders have good value but if they have holes (for trim) those are hard to sell. If I'm at a pick a part and see a blank fender I'll buy it in a heartbeat. If it had a V-8 grab the frame mounts and sell them on Ebay. To me if you bought the car for $500 parted it out you would make some money above what you paid for it, but is it worth all the work, taking it apart and shipping parts ? Now if you got it at the right price (Cheap) then strip it and store the parts for a few years sell them and then make some money because good clean sheetmetal is getting harder and harder to find. I'll give you a example I own a 69 Camaro and good clean fender I used to buy for $50 bucks are now $500 (not the cheap China restamped ones) and still climbing it's crazy. Just my $.02

That is what I was thinking..(getting it cheaper than $500) If it is too much to do I will part it.

As for the fenders, I think they are going to have the trim holes since it is a Deluxe.

Thanks for the input everyone, I will keep you posted and try to post pics on Sunday night...

coolfalcon~

I am going to look at it this afternoon... I will take some snap shots. Remember I may want this thing But if for some reason I don't I will let you in on the location (my garage)

I am pretty sure that I am going to buy it no matter what...if it is a pile, I will part it out, If it is savable I will save it

HOW DO I POST PICTURES????

It is missing the windshield and back glass, engine/trans, trans crossmember, some of the stainless, seat, and gauge cluster... It is very rust free (except the surface rust) and they did a decent job replacing both rear quarters
