Should I buy it???

awe come on! it is very straight and rust free...it just needs a few odds and ends to finish up

Here is my dilema (sp), I was just offered a partnership in a business today (damn my luck) now I might need to wait to pick this thing up until I figure out what I am going to do on the business (need all the money I can get) But if I can buy it for less than $500 it is coming home in a week or so...

That Ranchero looks like a lot of PAIN and SUFFERING to get it on the road. It looks just like my Ranchero did at one time. The only reason I bought my Ranchero was it had a factory 4 speed in it (and I'm a sucker for 4 speeds) or I would've walked away from it and been way ahead of the game. When I got my Ranchero I primered it black and my buddies called it the BLACK WIDOW, because it mated with me and sucked me dry HA HA !

Are you guys sure that you are "car guys" There seems to be a lot of pessamists in this group...

I am going to buy it and nock it down for a quick paint job (hell it is all ready taken apart) This will just be to keep it from rusting...Then it will go into cold storage for a few years.. until this business thing get taken care of...

Looks like a good deal to me! I'd buy it if it was on the east coast.
Good luck with your decision!
