Comet V8

I have a '61 Comet with what I think is a 302.I just bought the car at an estate sale. The motor has finned aluminum valve covers with Powered By Ford on them, a factory looking 4bbl intake with egr, serpentine belts and a points distributor. How can I tell without taking it apart too far if it's a roller motor?
Thanks.

if its not too much trouble pull the intake off and look in the valley there should be a long spider looking brace bolted in with two bolts. that piece holds the lifter guides in place (lifter guides hold two lifters per guide). if it has all this, its a roller motor. there may be an easier way, if there is im sure someone will let us know. hope this helps.

Thanks.I pulled a pushrod and it is a little over 6 3/4 inches long.Roller motor push rods are supposed to be closer to 6 1/4 so I guess it's not a roller. I'll pull the intake later,I'm just trying to get it running at the moment.
