I'll go back there after wheat harvest and snag them. Hopefully they will still have them.

So they just let you walk around in that yard, or do you need to be escorted?

About those cop cars -- if they are early (pre-SOHC) cars, they should have 351HO 2V engines, which are a really good start for a stroker build.

Already set up for a roller cam, decent block strength, unfortunately with throwaway peanut valve heads. The cop AOD's are pretty good too.

This is a junkyard about 30 miles from me. When you first go in, there is a touch screen computer that you search Make, Model and then it prints a list of the cars that you had chosen. They charge a dollar entry fee. You can then get a wheel barrow to push around your toolbox and parts.

All the cars are sitting on jack stands made from rims to lift them off the ground the ground is clean graveled and car are in-line. They even have people picking up trash and keeping the yard clean from stray parts. When a car is brought into the yard is next in the roll, so you will see chevys next to Fords. Ever car has a sticker on the 1/4 panel that tells year and model. The 2 hours that I was there, I saw 6 more cars coming in. This is the first junkyard I've seen without mud holes. Check out some of their prices on parts.

Yes, this junkyard lets you wander. Although you can't pull your own parts. There's a few U-pull-its around here, but they're only for newer vehicles.

It's worth it. Where in Oregon are you? PM me and I can give you directions to it.

Ranchero66, Been meaning to get down to All American, can never find the time. What was the count on round body Falcons 1960-1962? They don't seem to update the web site very often.

From what I saw, there were a handful, maybe five or six. There was a roundbody Ranchero there that had remarkable paint, but for a few spots on it. I don't know if the pain was original or not.
