Export brace removal

What would be the best and least laborious removal technique of existing export braces?
Drill out spot welds, pry and grind?
Cut out braces, cut some more, grind and grind.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

I cut mine out and then did a little grinding. You are putting something else back in right?!

if you are refering to the cowl to tower braces, i had asked about them a while back and everyone seemed to recomend not removing them w/o plans to replace with aftermarket pieces or custom fabbed pieces due to the weekness of the shock towers alone.

Yes, they will get replaced with an after market brace.

Ras, if you can get to your spot welds with a die grinder, hit them with that then pry it off and smoothe everything off after that. Are you going to seam weld the braces back on or bolt them or spot wled them?

They will be bolted possibly TCP or MPG, have been leaning towards the TCP for some time now. Think it is a really clean, stream line look and allows more access to engine and master cylinder.
I have seen a tool sold through National Parts Depot which has a pilot bit and a small diameter hole saw around it used for cutting, or drilling out the spot welds? It is cheap and looks like it could do the job.
Just looking for the cleanest and easiest way to remove them. In this heat I do not want to spend three days prying sweating and grinding.
Thanks for the input.

Export braces, shock tower supports do not know how many other names they are called? Can work independent or in combination with your Monte Carlo brace and lower cross member.

I used the MPG kit foe a mustang on my car...nice stuff. Had to shorten the rods a little but other then that it was a bolt on deal.It makes working on the engine much easier and like mentioned it looks pretty clean.

MPG now makes them short enough for the Falcon, just tell them your application.
